Each 1 ml contains:
Ivermectin………..10 mg
Properties:
- Ivermectin is derived from the avermectins, a family of potent broad spectrum antiparasitic agents which are isolated from fermentation of streptomyces avermitilis.
It is very potent nematocide and ectoparasiticide by oral and parenteral routes, but has no activity against flukes. Ivermectin has an acceptable safety margin, the dose required is very small and its activity persists for long after dosing.
Indication:
- For the effective treatment and control of internal and external parasites of cattle, sheep, and camel (i.e gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, warbles, sucking and biting lice, cattle grubs and mange mites)
Dosage and administration:
- Should be given only by subcutaneous injection.
The dose level is 1ml / 50 kg of body weight.
Withdrawal meaning:
Meat : Cattle, Sheep : 21 days
Camel : 28 days
Milk : 28 days
Store at a temperature below 30°C, protected from light.
