Purpose:
Calmafos is used to replenish phosphorus levels, influencing reproduction and post-partum recovery in female quines and bovines. It’s also indicated for the treatment of milk fever and states of calcium, phosphorus, or magnesium deficiency.

Formula: Each 500 ml of injectable solution contains:
- Calcium gluconate (providing calcium): 90.60 g (8.4 g of calcium)
- Magnesium hydroxide (providing magnesium): 8.50 g (3.5 g of magnesium)
- Hypophosphorous acid (providing phosphorus): 20.45 g (4.8 g of phosphorus)
- Dextrose: 82.50 g
- Excipients: q.s. to 500 ml
Dosage:
- Bovine and Equine: 150 ml for every 100 kg of weight.
- Pigs and Sheep: 50 to 125 ml by slow intravenous administration.
- Camel: 150 ml for every 100 kg of weight.
