Aagent 10% Injection 100ml | Fatro

COMPOSITION
Each ml contains:
Active substance: gentamicin (as gentamicin sulfate) 100 mg.
Excipients q.s. to 1 ml.
INDICATIONS
Aagent 10% is indicated for treatment of infectious diseases due to Gram-positive and particularly Gram-negative bacteria, also secondary to viral infections, in particular:
– of the digestive system (bacterial enteritis, neonatal colibacillosis),
– of the respiratory system
(bronchopneumonia, pneumonia),
– of the integumentary system (pyoderma, abscesses and septic wounds),
– septicemia.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
Inject by the intramuscular, subcutaneous or slow intravenous routes.
Cattle and horses: 2-4 ml per 100 kg b.w. equivalent to 2-4 mg/kg b.w. per day.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
In animals which show renal insufficiency, the antibiotic must be used at reduced posologies. The use of Aagent 10% is contraindicated in subjects with severely compromised renal function.
